Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping has been paying great attention to the issues of labor education. Based on the historical position of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, President Xi Jinping has reiterated the five-education system of“moral, intellectu? al, physical, aesthetic grounding and hard-working spirit”, revealing the meaning of labor education in the new era from historical logic, value logic, and practical logic. The living connotation explains the value of labor edu? cation, deepens the practice path of labor education, implements the“Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthen? ing Labor Education in Colleges, Middle Schools and Primary Schools in the New Era”for us in the new era, and promote the spirit of labor and establish the concept of labor among young people, which has pointed out the direction for working and provided the fundamental guidelines.
