Abstract:Based on interview and speech records about corporate technology for social good, this study adopted grounded theory method to explore influencing factors and driving mechanisms of corporate technology for social good. Results indicates that (1) technology for social good idea and corporate strategy are internal front driving factors of corporate technology for social good; (2) external stakeholders and external shocks are moderators of the technology for social good idea—corporate technology for social good link and the corporate strategy—corpo? rate technology for social good link. Based on above, this study provides a theoretical model of “internal driving force—external situation—corporate technology for social good”. What’s more, we put forward suggestions for corporates on how to implement “technology for social good”.
