Abstract:Kuhn emphasizes the details of the process of scientific discovery and the contingency of social events, and ignores the objectivity of scientific theory. In the“subject-intermediary-object”structure of scientific cognitive activities, Kuhn emphasizes the subject and ignores the object of scientific activities. Kuhn criticizes logical positivism, turns his scientific view to historicism, and starts social constructivism. From the perspective of Marxist methodology, we can find the limitations of Kuhn’s view of science, that is, separating the contradic? tory relation between logic and history, unilaterally exaggerating the uncertainty of social factors in scientific ac? tivities and continuing the tradition of Western agnosticism, which are contrary to the basic position, views and methods of Marxism.
