Abstract:There are two important achievements on Heller’s academic research for years, that is, critical theory of everyday life and historical theory. Through text comprehension, it is recognized that both theories are academic results in the process of exploring the core topic of“how modern people live at present”. From the per? spective of the development of related thoughts, one of them is always accompanied by the other and comple? ments the other. View of“present”plays a connecting role in it, which not only clarifies the contingency situa? tion faced by modern people, expands the historical horizon of daily time, but also points out the conditions for the generation of modern people’s personality and social-historical consciousness of responsibility. Interpretating everyday life through“present”perspective not only illustrates inner link between Heller’s historical theory and philosophy of everyday life, but also further explores the potential impact of life philosophy on his ethics and mo? dernity theory.
