Improving the industrial basic capacity and industrial chain level has become the fundamental direction of Jiangsu’s future industrial development. Based on relevant data samples such as Jiangsu input-output table, this paper makes an empirical evaluation on the industrial added value rate, sensitivity coefficient, influence coef? ficient and location quotient of Jiangsu by using the dynamic analysis method. Jiangsu’s industrial base and eco? nomic benefits are relatively consistent. Its secondary industry has strong comparative advantages and the lead? ing industries and key industries are innovative and multilayered. The growth of high-tech investment is strong and entering a new growth cycle. However, compared with the global coordinate system, the construction of in? dependent and controllable modern industrial system in Jiangsu needs to be strengthened. Therefore, it is impor? tant to combine the progress of industrial structure and relevant comparative advantage to improve the position? ing and cultivation of leading industries and key industries, give full play to the organic combination effect of“ef? fective market”and“promising government”, promote the coupling and symbiosis of industrial foundation and industrial chain and improve the strength of industrial chain and supply chain.
