One hundred and two disabled college students completed Perceived Discrimination Scale, Social Avoidance and Distress Scale, Social Support Rating Scale and Social Adjustment Scale. The study aims to ex? plore the potential mechanisms of the association between perceived discrimination and social alienation based on SPSS-Process analysis. The results are as followed: Perceived discrimination could positively predict social ad? aptation and social alienation, social support could negatively predict perceived discrimination and social adapta? tion; social adaptation could positively predict social alienation; Both social support and social adaptation played mediating roles in the relationship between perceived discrimination and social alienation; Perceived discrimina? tion affected social alienation through the chain mediating roles of social support and social adaptation. In sum? mary, the above findings contribute to understanding the complex mechanism between perceived discrimination and social alienation. Social support and social adaptation may be the crucial factors in the link of perceived dis? crimination and social alienation.
