The discourse consciousness of modern Neo-Confucianism is manifested in three aspects: a sense of re? sponsibility to deal with the challenges of Western discourse, active promotion of the modern transformation of Chi? nese philosophical discourse, and the practice of disseminating Chinese philosophical discourse. They stand for Chi? nese culture, oppose the abandonment of national cultural traditions, the doctrine of total Westernization, and the view of Western culture as the only paradigm for modernization. They have a high sense of responsibility and a strong sense of mission to revive Chinese culture. They refine the iconic concepts of Chinese philosophy, form a distinctive modern Chinese philosophy discourse system, and promote the modern transformation of Chinese philosophy. Their activities to spread Chinese philosophical discourse mainly include publishing works, running magazines, giving lec? tures at home and abroad, running academies, and participating in international conferences. Their theoretical innova? tion and practical exploration have provided direct experience for the current discourse system of philosophy and so? cial sciences with Chinese characteristics and the promotion of Chinese philosophical discourse to the world.
