Historical turning points have occurred many times in the history of the Communist Party of China. In most previous studies, commentators generally believed that there were three historic turning points. However, the author believes that there should be five historic turning points considering the one-hundred year party histo? ry. This article intends to explain the significance of each historic turning point: the historic turning point during the revolutionary low tide period, the historic turning point of life and death, the historic turning point of the eve of victory, the historic turning point of reform and opening up, and the historic turning point of the great revival. Based on these five turning points, the author summarizes the most fundamental reason that leads to the success of the Chinese Communist Party in revolution, construction, and reform in the past 100 years is that the Com? munist Party of China has never forgotten its original inspiration, always kept in mind and practiced the purpose of“serving the people wholeheartedly”.
