Abstract:Based on the theory of social learning, this paper investigates the influence mechanism of responsible leadership on employees’pro-environmental behavior, and examines the mediating effect of corporate environ? mental responsibility perceived by employees. At the same time, Confucian and Taoist culture, as the essences of traditional Chinese culture, have a profound influence on individual behaviors. Confucian and Taoist work val? ues are incorporated into the research framework to explore their regulating effects on the above relations. The empirical results show that: responsible leadership and employee’s pro-environmental behavior are significantly positively correlated; employees’perceived corporate environmental responsibility completely mediates the rela? tionship between responsible leadership and employee’s environmental friendly behavior; Confucian and Taoist work values negatively regulate the relationship between responsible leadership and employees’perceived corpo? rate environmental responsibility, while responsible leadership and employees’environmental friendly behavior and employees’perceived corporate environment are positively correlated. There is no significant moderating ef? fect between environmental responsibility and employees’pro-environmental behavior.
