Abstract:According to Vico’s theory,“poetic wisdom”is a natural nature that human beings are born with, and it is the source of human civilization.“Poetic wisdom”in the normative sense is the natural nature and perceptual wisdom of human beings. Its essence is not only imagination, but also creativity, and the source of power of human civilization. Since entering the industrial civilization, human beings have been running all the way in pursuit of material and interests, and“poetic”has been covered. The concealment of“poetic quality”has a profound impact on the field of education. To some extent, modern education deviates from the original intention of the development of human life, objectively intensifies the separation and division of subject and object, spirit and flesh, resulting in the desolation of human spiritual world and a series of educational problems such as“hollow disease”. As an educational reform and attempt, how to make the“poetic nature”of education clear, the author gives three suggestions, that is, the“poetic education”needs to promote education to follow human nature and realize the awakening of human spirit; it needs to point to art and aesthetics, protect and stimulate students’ imagination and creativity; it needs to point to life and practice, ideal and lofty, and calls for the return of educational poetic nature.
