Abstract:With the aid of CiteSpace software, the authors select the researches that focus on domestic tourism market from the CSSCI source journals between 1998 and 2018 in China academic journal network (CAJD). They found that from the view of scientific research cooperation network, although the tourism market has achieved fruitful results, close academic team between the core authors has not been formed and cooperation between research institutions is not frequent. From the perspective of research content, firstly, the research theme is diversified and is featured by the study of space-time structure. Secondly, the research focus is outstanding and has shifted significantly, and the policy orientation is obvious. On the whole, the study of tourism market shows two parallel lines of economic orientation and political orientation. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen the theoretical research on tourism market. The segmentation of the tourism market should be developed. And we should select target markets and further launch tourism promotion activities, focus on the interdisciplinary integration with geography, psychology and marketing and strengthen the application of information technology tools, as well as communication and cooperation among institutions.
