Abstract:Values are the core components of quality for leading cadres. In colleges and universities, leading cadres outlook of career values are the spirit which is of great influence to their behavior and performance. Starting from the organizational requirements and individual demands of leading cadres, this study comprehensively used methods such as literature retrieval, interview and questionnaire survey to sort out the common factors and representative factors of professional values of leading cadres of different ranks and types in Chinese universities. The questionnaire on the outlook of career values is designed, by 741 valid questionnaires to collect both online and offline data,which is analyzed by SPSS. The basic structure of leading cadres' outlook of career values was discussed. These results can be used as reference for selection, evaluation and training of leading cadres in colleges and universities.
