Abstract:As the first documentary film in our country, the creation of Twenty-two comes from the real “history” and “affection”. Based on the retrospect of the real history and the revelation of the justice affections, the documentary combined emotion with scenery while viewing the history, presenting the real life of the surviving “comfort women”. At the same time, the respect to the photographic objects profoundly reflects the highest moral pursuit of the creator. The narrative method combining hearing and vision, the proper control of the use of artistic techniques, the moral construction of the ethics of the documentary and the rational molding of the view of history constitute the unique narrative logic, film style and ideological connotation of this documentary. In particular, the humane care of individual life status not only gives the respondents great respect, but also comforts their inner wounds. Through the restoration and reflection of the truth, the documentary awakens people to the correct cognition of history. And more importantly, it provides a correct view of history and values for the young people of the new era. At the same time, it warns people that the humiliation should never be forgotten, and people should also take history as a mirror, and cherish peace forever.
