Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. In order to better implement the fundamental task of morality education, colleges and universities should further enhance the concept of whole stuff education in the educational process of the socialist core values. The unique role played by the intergenerational interaction between the old and the young students should be paid attention to fully. Intergenerational interaction is a carrier of Chinese characteristics to inherit Chinese traditional excellent culture. It is the second class to restore the historical scene and inherit the red gene, and it is a vivid embodiment of college students’ practice of socialist core values. There are abundant silver resources in colleges and universities. We should build flexible and diverse platforms through the second development of University’s silver resources, grasp the content and direction, establish longterm mechanism to achieve effective interaction, and gradually cultivate the socialist core values of college students.
