Incidents caused by UAV are characterized by high occurring frequency and high difficulty in prevention and control. There does not exist any specific and direct regulations on liabilities caused by the UAV incidents in the current system of legal liability of P.R. China. Considering the accelerating popularization of UAV applications, it is necessary to sort out various civil liabilities caused by UAV under the current institutional framework and clarify imputation principles and responsibilities applied to various circumstances, so as to realize effective and fair solution on relevant disputes and cope with infringement incidents of new types of UAV effectively in the future, as well as to achieve the fair protection of the rights and interests of the individuals involved and social development.
