Furthermore, towns and villages with historic culture can make and implement differentiated protective policy and innovations of creative utilization. Qiaoxiang, a historic cultural village in Meizhou, Guangdong, has carried out fruitful differentiated land utilization and cultural protection according to land space system factors such as nature and humanity, history and culture, industry and traffic with government attention and villagers' participation, thus displaying the characteristics of an overseas Chinese hometown.
