Abstract:The production and dissemination of public culture in the new mediaerashows some new characteristics, which create conditions for the participation of the nonprofit organizations. Moreover, the historical necessity and realistic possibility for the nonprofit organizations to participate in the production and disseminationof public cultures reflect four characteristics, which highlightthe feasibility for their participation. However, the nonprofit organizations are also confronted with problems during their participation, such as the insufficient institutional guarantee and policy support, the weak overall strength, the short compound talents, the high pressure of resources, which hinder the participation of the nonprofit organizations. To solve these problems, new media technology should be adopted to create a new media platform, which helps to innovate the participation path of the nonprofit organizations, thusgiving full play to the effect of the nonprofit organizations on the production and dissemination of the public culture.
