Ecological justice is the requirement to realize social justice and an important goal of the construction of ecological civilization in the northwest region. In recent years, with the rapid economic development of the northwest region, ecological justice issues are becoming increasingly prominent. Problems such as the weakness of ecological justice concept, the lack of relevant legal system, and unbalanced group interests distribution have become a serious bottleneck for China's northwest region to further accelerate the construction of ecological civilization and implement the concept of “green development”. Therefore, it is vitally important to establish firmly a correct concept of ecological justice, establish and perfect the relevant legal system, coordinate distribution system rationally, so that people can share the northwest area ecological dividend and protect their ecological right, and uphold “environmental justice”.
