The school songs, a unique product of campus cultural environment, play an important role in the construction of contemporary environment of university campus culture. The creation, performance, and communication of university campus songs, as a community cultural phenomenon, reflect profound cultural connotations. Based on the research and investigation of the status quo of campus songs in Jiangsu universities in the recent years and the research of the reasons for the mainstream of contemporary university culture, constructive guidance measures are raised, hopefully to play a positive role in creating a favorable art environment of campus culture and enhancing the college students’ cultural qualities.
