Aeronautic culture refers to the sum of spiritual wealth and its materialized form cultivated and gradually formed in long term aeronautic practice, with uniquely aeronautic features, and recognized by all aeronautic staff. Its core is aeronautic spirit and values. In the sustainable development of China' s space industry, aeronautic culture is the ideological support, spiritual power, cultural source and important symbol of soft power. Even more, it is the precious spiritual wealth of the aeronautic staff and the whole China. The basic connotation of aeronautic culture discusses is discussed: patriotic culture, which means making efforts to serve the country through aeronautic practice; innovative culture, which means stepping new heights through self-reliance; quality culture，which means safety first and pursuit of excellence; collaborative culture, which means collaborating together and considering the general interest; responsibility culture，which means devotion and selfless dedication in post; and humanistic culture, which means cherishing life and putting people's needs in a fundamental position. Meanwhile, the basic paths of strengthening the construction of aeronautic culture are suggested, namely: space environment culture, material culture, behavior culture, system culture, and spiritual culture.
