The influence of Internet plus on university students’ political participation goes beyond the extended space of participation on the technological level. More importantly, the spirit of openness, equality, and freedom in political participation is cultivated as fiercely as Internet plus. The political participation is evolving by combining online and offline combination, molding reality and virtuality, interweaving rationality and non-rationality, concurrence of center and edge. To adapt to and guide the demand of the era with an open and equal political culture and relieve the pressure of political participation，social governance，in terms of necessity, feasibility, and reality, needs to advance with the times, so that political participation can be incorporated into social order and be an active propeller for social civilization and progress.
