Wechat has become an important new media tool for university students with its own features and unique charm. It is significant to conduct the socialist core values education by means of Wechat. However, Wechat is facing such problems in the practice as the educators' insufficient awareness of Wechat, challenges raised by Wechat to the educators' work, students' unsatisfying awareness of using Wechat properly, and weak attraction of educational content. Therefore, the socialist core values education can be conducted with Wechat effectively by establishing the concept of Wechat Education, constructing the professional staff of Wechat education, building a platform of Wechat education, and enriching the content of Wechat education.
