He tried to establish a reasonable science & technology development path upon “the new rationality” through finding the lost enlightenment reason. He stressed that modern science and technology must wipe out all sorts of drawbacks and that it must become the social progress force in line with the requirements of humanity. However, in addition to affirming the contemporary effect of his critical theory, the partiality of Habermas' theory should be examined.
