Eco-Marxism is a product of the western ecological movement. It is viewed as a new development direction of western Marxism and also an important component of Eco-Socialism. Eco-Marxism is closely related to Eco-Socialism, with their logical order reflected through the criticism of capitalism and the construction of socialism. The value of traditional Marxism is reflected in the understanding and reform of historical materialism, the pursuit of the real root of ecological crisis, and the discussion of freedom and real demands. The construction of Eco-Socialism is explored in the economic model, technology application, ethics and morality of capitalism, and the components of the revolutionary forces of socialist revolution.
