The spirit of reform and opening-up is the spiritual wealth created by the Chinese people and the Com? munist Party of China during the practice of the reform and opening-up. It has the“height”of theory, the“thick? ness”of history and the“breadth”of reality. Putting the spirit of reform and opening-up into the ideological and political education is to adapt it to modern times and promote the development of education. Through analyzing the historical formation, basic connotation and main characteristics of the spirit of the reform and opening-up, and grasping its value of ideological and political education, this paper will discuss how to put the spirit of reform and opening-up into the ideological and political education of college students through teachers, courses, prac? tice and the internet, so as to make an important contribution to cultivate the new people of the times who are ideal, capable and responsible.
