Because of the lack of a thorough understanding of Marxist theory as the fundamental basis of the firstlevel discipline, the inadequate grasp of the premise of Marxist research methods, and the inadequate understanding of the theoretical significance of Marxism at the level of transforming the world, some researchers either only study the integrity of Marxist theory under the guidance of theoretical rationality, or only construct systematized Marxist theory in the abstract and solidified hypothesis, or just give full play to the practical function of Marxism at the level of transforming the objective world, thus dispelling to a certain extent the explanatory power of Marxist theory in explaining contemporary problems. In order to effectively solve the problems related to the explanatory power of Marxist theory in the new era, we should not only grasp the integrity of Marxist theory from the perspective of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, but also face the real world and carry out Marxist theoretical research in the organic unity of transforming the subjective world and the objective world.
